Session Terms & Information
By booking and attending a photography session with Brian Gomez Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.
Session Details
Your session includes the services and deliverables outlined at the time of booking.
Depending on the selected session or package, this may include:
Photography for the agreed-upon session duration
The agreed number of outfits
The agreed location or studio setting
Professionally edited digital images
A private online gallery for viewing and downloading final images
Specific session details, including session length, number of images, location, and other inclusions, will be confirmed during booking.
Location
Sessions may take place outdoors, in a studio, at a client's requested location, or at another mutually agreed-upon location.
Requested locations are subject to photographer approval based on lighting, accessibility, travel distance, permits, fees, and overall suitability for the session.
Any additional location, studio rental, travel, parking, permit, or entrance fees will be communicated in advance and may be the responsibility of the client.
Final meeting details will be confirmed before the session.
Artistic Style
Brian Gomez Studio provides a portrait experience centered around natural expression, movement, thoughtful composition, intentional lighting, and a cinematic visual style.
By booking a session, you acknowledge that you have reviewed Brian Abreu Gomez's portfolio and understand the photographer's established shooting, editing, and artistic style.
The photographer will provide posing guidance and creative direction throughout the session. Clients are encouraged to trust the creative process, as the final images are intended to reflect the photographer's artistic vision.
Editing requests that substantially differ from the photographer's established style cannot be accommodated.
Arrival & Session Time
Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled session time.
The scheduled session time begins at the agreed-upon start time. Late arrival may reduce the amount of shooting time available and does not automatically extend the session.
For sessions scheduled around specific lighting conditions, including Golden Hour or Blue Hour, arriving on time is especially important.
Weather
Outdoor sessions are subject to weather conditions.
If weather conditions make photography unsafe or unsuitable, the photographer may recommend rescheduling the session.
When rescheduling is necessary due to weather, the photographer will work with the client to arrange an alternative date, subject to availability.
Weather-related rescheduling does not result in an additional session fee.
Image Delivery
Final edited images will be delivered through a private online gallery within the stated turnaround time provided at booking.
Only the final images selected and edited by the photographer, or otherwise included in the agreed package, will be delivered.
RAW files, unedited images, test shots, rejected images, and outtakes are not included.
The photographer retains full creative discretion over image selection and editing.
Payment
A retainer is required to reserve a session date.
The retainer amount and remaining balance will be specified during booking.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session.
A session date is not considered fully reserved until the required retainer and signed agreement have been received.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
The retainer is non-refundable.
Clients may request to reschedule their session with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to the photographer's availability.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend a scheduled session, may require a new retainer to reserve another date.
The photographer reserves the right to make reasonable exceptions at their discretion.
Creative Direction & Client Cooperation
The photographer will provide direction throughout the session, including posing, movement, positioning, and general creative guidance.
Clients are expected to communicate any relevant concerns, limitations, or preferences before or during the session.
While the photographer will make every reasonable effort to create a comfortable and successful experience, the final images are influenced by factors including lighting, location, wardrobe, weather, client participation, and the photographer's artistic approach.
Image Usage & Copyright
Brian Abreu Gomez retains the copyright to all photographs created during the session.
Clients receive a personal-use license to download, print, and share their delivered edited images for non-commercial purposes.
Images may not be altered, heavily edited, sold, licensed, submitted for commercial advertising, or otherwise used for commercial purposes without written permission from Brian Gomez Studio.
Commercial, advertising, brand, publication, or other professional usage may require separate licensing and fees.
Portfolio & Promotional Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Brian Gomez Studio may use photographs created during a session for portfolio, website, social media, promotional, editorial, advertising, and other business-related purposes.
If a client has concerns about promotional use or would like to discuss restrictions, they should communicate this before the session.
Personal Items & Property
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings and any items they bring to a session.
Brian Gomez Studio is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal property.
